'Signs of the Zodiac' - Philip Heaton

The cooler Autumn days have just returned so it was pleasing to see so many members for our monthly meeting on Tuesday 9th September. The speaker for the evening was Philip Heaton and his subject, “Signs of the Zodiac”. Philip has been an astrologist for forty years and as such studies the influence of celestial objects on human lives and earthly affairs. In this way he gains insight into why we do things and can see the typical personality traits linked to an individual’s date of birth. By taking each star sign individually he amusingly described the typical characteristics of people born under that sign. This caused lively comments as the audience began to associate and connect with his descriptions. Competitive Aries, down to earth Taurus and talkative Gemini!

Refreshments followed before concluding the evening with information on future events.
